Useful Content Podcast Interview with Juma Bannister

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to be interviewed on the Useful Content Podcast, hosted by Juma Bannister and it was definitely a wonderful experience from scheduling to recording the episode, the great questions asked ;) and the post interview process. Very, very professional and well-organized I must make a point to mention.

In this podcast with Juma, I wanted to remind persons of the importance of branding from a foundational and strategy perspective, one that is supported with the right tools and systems at the forefront. At the end of the day, it’s not what you say but how you execute and the way you execute will be determined by your strategy, tools and systems.

We often spend so much time focused on perfecting every pixel of a logo, which don’t get me wrong the visuals matter, but a logo on its own with a poor brand experience for the user will lack the substance to carry the brand forward.

At a high level, here are the things we discussed:

• Introduction to Branding for Small Businesses
• Understanding the Complete Brand Framework
• The Importance of Standing Out in a Noisy Market
• Exploring the Brand Foundation
• The Role of Effective Systems and Tools
• The Importance of a Website in Branding (Do Your Really Need a Website?)

If you're serious about building a strong brand, I encourage you to listen to the full episode. You can find it here. It’s packed with valuable insights and takeaways that I believe every small business owner should consider.
